Your bricks.
Your photos. Your device.

Privacy Policy for Noppi, the iPhone brick scanner and counter published by Kaye Romero.

Effective and last updated: 11 October 2026

Scanning happens on your iPhone. Noppi does not upload your scans or brick collection. The app has no account, advertising, tracking or third-party analytics SDKs.

Email you choose to send us and visits to these web pages are handled separately, as explained below.

Who is responsible

Kaye Romero is the publisher of Noppi and is responsible for the support information described in this policy. For privacy questions or requests, contact romerokaye04@gmail.com.

Developer contact address: Z3-116 Valley View Village, Mohon, Talisay, Cebu Province 6045, Philippines.

Photos and camera access

Noppi requests camera access when you choose to take a photo of your bricks. You can instead select an image with Apple’s system photo picker, which shares the image you select with Noppi without giving the app access to your entire photo library.

Two machine-learning models included in the app analyse the photo locally to find and identify bricks. Noppi does not send these photos or scan results to us, an AI service or an analytics provider, and we do not receive them for model training.

You can withdraw camera access in iOS Settings under Noppi or under Privacy & Security → Camera. This does not delete a photo or scan already stored by the app.

Information stored on your device

Noppi does not operate an account or a cloud database for your collection. Device backups may include the app’s local data if you use iCloud Backup or a computer backup; we cannot access those backups. If you choose to export or share your brick list, the destination you select handles that exported copy.

Retention and deletion

Your collection stays on your device until you change it, reset it or delete the app. A new scan replaces the previous scan stored by Noppi. When your pile contains pieces, Noppi → Settings → Empty my pile clears the collection and the saved scan. If that button is unavailable because the pile is empty, deleting the app removes its locally stored data; offloading an app can retain its data.

Deleting app data does not remove your original image from Photos, an exported copy or a device backup. Manage those copies in Photos, the app you shared them with, or your backup settings. We cannot recover your local collection or delete a backup for you.

Purchases and Apple services

Noppi uses Apple’s StoreKit to display offers, process purchases and verify access to Noppi Pro. Apple processes purchases under Apple’s privacy policy. We do not receive your payment card details or Apple Account password.

Apple may provide aggregate store and sales statistics and diagnostics according to your Apple settings. Noppi does not include its own analytics or crash-reporting SDK. You can manage optional diagnostic sharing in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.

When you contact support

If you email us, we receive your address, your message and any attachments you choose to send. We use this information to answer your request and resolve the reported issue. Please avoid sending passwords, payment details, or photos containing information unrelated to the problem.

Support correspondence is handled through Gmail, provided by Google (see Google’s privacy policy), and is retained only as needed to deal with your request and any applicable legal obligations. To request access, correction or deletion of support correspondence, contact romerokaye04@gmail.com. We cannot access the photos or collection stored only inside your app.

This developer website

This developer website, including the Noppi support and privacy pages, is hosted by Netlify. Opening them sends the ordinary technical information needed to deliver a web page, such as your IP address, browser information and the requested URL, to the hosting provider. Netlify may process request logs to operate and secure its service; see Netlify’s privacy policy.

We have not added advertising, tracking pixels, analytics scripts or contact forms to these pages. Clicking an email link opens your chosen email application; it does not send a message automatically.

Sharing and your choices

We do not sell or use your support correspondence for advertising. Email and hosting providers process the information needed to provide their services, subject to their data-protection obligations. They may process information in countries other than yours. Information may also be disclosed when legally required.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict processing of personal information, or to object and complain to your local data-protection authority. Contact us to exercise rights relating to information we hold. For information handled independently by Apple, use Apple’s privacy controls.

Children and families

The app’s scans and brick collection are processed on the device, including when used by children. We do not ask children to create an account or send us personal information. A parent or guardian should contact support on a child’s behalf. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us to request its deletion.

Policy updates

We will publish changes on this page and update the date above. If the app’s data practices change, this policy and the relevant App Store disclosures will be updated.
