Times and location

Why do my times differ from another app or website?

Moonrise, moonset and lunar days depend on where you are. Check Settings › Location: without a chosen city Lunula uses the main city of your time zone. Choose your own city for exact times. Sign changes, phases and void-of-course times are the same everywhere and are shown in your local time.

My Moon sign is different from what I expected

Lunula uses the tropical (Western) zodiac by default. Vedic astrology uses the sidereal zodiac, which is about 24° behind. Switch in Settings › Zodiac.

Which lunar day is it?

By default the first lunar day starts at the New Moon and every next one at moonrise, so a lunar day usually starts in the middle of a calendar day — the Today screen shows the exact time. Settings › Lunar days switches to 30 equal tithis.

What does “void of course” mean?

The time between the Moon’s last major aspect to a planet and its entry into the next sign. Astrologers treat it as a pause.

Widgets

Touch and hold the Home Screen, tap Edit › Add Widget and search for Lunula. Lock Screen: touch and hold the Lock Screen › Customize. If a widget looks out of date, open the app once.

Purchases

Restore

Settings › Restore purchases, signed in with the Apple Account that bought Pro.

Cancel a subscription or trial

iOS Settings › your name › Subscriptions › Lunula › Cancel, at least 24 hours before renewal.

Refund

reportaproblem.apple.com — refunds are decided by Apple.

Moon guide and reminders

Why is the Moon guide unavailable?

The guide requires iOS 26 or later and a compatible iPhone with Apple Intelligence enabled and available for your language. Other Lunula features remain available without it.

I am not receiving reminders

Check notification permission for Lunula in iOS Settings and the reminders selected inside the app. Focus modes and scheduled notification summaries can affect when notifications appear.

Your data

Your journal and settings are stored locally. Settings › “Erase journal and settings” resets active data; a local recovery copy can remain. To remove app storage, delete the app rather than offloading it, and manage device backups separately. See the Privacy Policy for details and requests about support correspondence.
