Terms of Use
Effective and last updated: 29 October 2026
These terms apply to the Lunula app for iPhone, published by Kaye Romero (“we”, “us”). By using the app you agree to them. The app is licensed to you under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement; these terms add to it.
What Lunula is — and is not
- Lunula is a lunar calendar. Astronomical data (phases, positions, rise and set times, eclipses) is calculated on your device using astronomical models. Results are estimates; near the poles and close to the horizon, observations can differ.
- Lunar days, Moon signs, “best days” ratings, rituals and other guidance follow calendar and astrological traditions. They are offered for reflection, planning and enjoyment. They are not scientific statements and not medical, psychological, financial or legal advice, and they do not predict events. Make important decisions on their own merits and consult a qualified professional where appropriate.
Lunula Pro
- Lunula Pro is available as an auto-renewing subscription (yearly or weekly) or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy. One purchase unlocks all Pro features; there are no further purchases inside the app.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. A subscription renews automatically at the applicable price and billing interval shown by Apple unless cancelled. You can manage renewal in your Apple Account settings; Apple’s rules and notices apply to any price changes.
- If a free trial is offered, you are charged when it ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before.
- Manage or cancel in iOS Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com.
A lifetime purchase is a one-time Pro entitlement with no recurring subscription charge. It does not guarantee indefinite availability of the app or compatibility with every future device. Restore an eligible purchase in Lunula Settings → Restore purchases, using the same Apple Account. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Your content
Your journal content remains yours and is held in the app’s local storage. We have no access to it and cannot restore it for you. Device backups and local recovery copies are described in the Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
Do not copy, resell or reverse engineer the app except where the law allows it.
Liability
The app is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of its content or for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
